We are thrilled to announce the release of Newsletter No.1 for the Erasmus+ KA2 PHAROS Project, a crucial initiative aimed at improving mental health support for migrants and refugees across Europe. This first edition provides an overview of the project’s objectives, key milestones, and upcoming activities.
What’s Inside the Newsletter?
🔹 Project Objectives – Developing a Lay Mental Health Advisor Training Programme for adult migrants and establishing peer support networks to foster community well-being.
🔹 Meet Our Partners – The PHAROS consortium is a collaboration between six organizations from Germany, Lithuania, Ireland, France, Bulgaria, and Cyprus, working together to enhance access to mental health services.
🔹 Project Kick-Off – The journey officially began with a kick-off meeting on November 19, 2024, where partners gathered to align their goals and set the foundation for success.
🔹 Next Steps – The upcoming February meeting in Ireland will focus on launching the Lay Mental Health Advisor training programme, marking a significant milestone in the project.
