COURSES
Do you work with migrants and refugees, or want to become more confident in supporting mental health and wellbeing in multicultural communities?
As part of the PHAROS project, we developed two practical training programmes to strengthen mental health awareness, culturally sensitive support, and inclusive practice. The Lay Mental Health Advisor Curriculum is designed for adult migrants who want to support peers in their communities, raise awareness of mental health and help reduce stigma. The Upskilling Programme for Educators and Support Workers is created for adult educators, NGO staff and other professionals who want to better address mental health concerns when working with migrants and refugees through trauma-informed and culturally competent approaches.
